The Hidden Dragon team are skipping with excitement this week because Winter has arrived!

Ten centimeters of powdery snow landed on the hot tub cover last night. The snow is continuing to fall at a steady pace in Veysonnaz at 1500m.

Peering out the window of the Hidden Dragon lodge, the beautiful 4 Vallèes can be seen in their finest views. The early snow makes it a great time for a pre-season trip to Switzerland.

With some lifts opening across the region already - it truly promises to be a fantastic season this year. The openings are well ahead of the scheduled openings at the beginning of December and the lifts will continue to open throughout November.

The weather for the forthcoming week is set to get even better with more snow forecast for the weekend.

Founder Ashlee Benis said: "It's fantastic to wake up and see the first thick layer of snow on the ground.

"We're so very excited about Hidden Dragon's first ski season and could not of asked for a better start weather-wise."
